We're proud to have served you in the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program for 20 years. We look forward to continuing that same service for federal employees, annuitants, uniformed services retirees and their families with the Delta Dental Federal Employees Dental Program.
If you’re about to retire or are newly retired, you can enroll in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) during the federal benefits Open Season from November 14, 2022 through December 12, 2022 for coverage starting January 1, 2023.
Go to benefeds.com or view our 2022 Plan Fact Sheet for more information on your enrollment options.
Enrollment in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) takes place during Federal Benefits Open Season, which usually runs from the second Monday in November through the second Monday in December each year. If open season has ended, you must be newly eligible or have experienced a qualifying life event (QLE) in order to enroll in FEDVIP.. Otherwise, the next opportunity for you to enroll in FEDVIP dental coverage will be during the next Federal Benefits Open Season.
Now that you’ve enrolled with Delta Dental for FEDVIP dental coverage, make the most of your plan with these simple steps. You’ll be receiving a welcome letter and ID cards in the mail.
In FEDVIP, Delta Dental offers a choice between two great plans to meet your needs.
The Standard Plan option offers quality care at a low premium and per person in-network maximum of $1,500.
The High Plan option offers greater coverage, including adult orthodontics, and unlimited in-network annual maximum.
Preventive care is critical to your overall health and shouldn’t cost you anything. That’s why it’s 100% covered under Delta Dental’s FEDVIP plans when you visit an in-network dentist.
