Federal Employees Dental Program

Welcome, TRICARE military retirees!

We’re proud to have been your oral health partner for the last 20 years in the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP).

What you need to know about the 2019 TRDP to FEDVIP transition

The TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP) will end on December 31, 2018. TRDP enrollees will have an opportunity to enroll in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP), with coverage effective January 1, 2019. FEDVIP offers a choice of ten dental carriers, including Delta Dental. Enrollment in FEDVIP will begin November 12, 2018, and run through December 10, 2018. You must select a FEDVIP dental plan during that time period in order to have dental coverage on January 1, 2019.

Delta Dental is here for you

In FEDVIP, Delta Dental offers a choice between two great plans to meet your needs.

The Standard Plan option offers quality care at a low premium and per person in-network maximum of $1,500.

The High Plan option offers greater coverage and an increased per person in-network maximum of $30,000.

Preventive care is critical to your overall health and shouldn’t cost you anything. That’s why it’s 100% covered under Delta Dental’s FEDVIP plans when you visit an in-network dentist.
